This replica Wall of Skulls is not unlike the memorial walls found in Death Tender crypts across Attria. While true Walls of Skulls represent fallen Death Tenders, the one in the Temple District represents the souls of all who have crossed into Aetherius. It is a solemn location where the living may spend a quiet moment remembering the dead.

Attria's most enduring legend is that of the Ayleid king who embraced lichdom in order to destroy the archipelago. An effigy of the lich -- historically referred to as "The Betrayer" -- is symbolically burned every year during the Night of Skulls to celebrate Attria's victory over its undead foe.
